Our three bead turned columns and legs are reminiscent of mid-19th century Bobbin or Spool turned furniture. Mass produced for cottage style designs in the mid 1800's, these pieces were often used in rural areas and urban cottages. Measuring 3" square x 35-1/4" tall, available in 4 species, this kitchen island leg is part of the Brown Wood Modern Farmhouse collection. Already sanded and ready to finish or paint. Designs of Distinction wanted to breathe new life into the quintessential 1800's cottage style design and, as a result, created the Charleston Bead Column in 3 different styles: Bead, Double Bead, and Bead with Foot.
